HDFC Bank has announced important revisions to its credit card charges, effective July 1, 2025. These changes impact several transaction categories, including online gaming, wallet loading, utilities, and insurance payments. Charges & Reward Caps

1. Online Skill-Based Gaming

  • Fee: 1% on total monthly spends exceeding ₹10,000

  • Cap: Maximum fee of ₹4,999 per transaction

2. Wallet Loading (excluding PayZapp)

  • Fee: 1% on monthly spends above ₹10,000

3. Utility Transactions

  • No specific fee or cap mentioned in the latest update, but categorized under MCC 4900.

4. Insurance Transactions

  • Reward Points Cap (per month):
